We offer competitive remuneration and benefits packages and currently have a vacancies as follows: Permanent PositionsAudit SeniorDue to the continued expansion of our audit work, we are looking to recruit an experienced qualified or part qualified ACA/ACCA to work on a varied portfolio of audit clients. Reporting to the senior audit manager, you will be responsible for all aspect of the audit work including supervising a team of 2/3 juniors. Knowledge of or an interest in the not for profit sector would be an advantage. Software Developer / Project ManagerSalary Range: Negotiable based upon experience Core job description In addition to maintaining and supporting existing applications, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of bespoke software, including the initial requirements gathering and post implementation support. Specific responsibilities - Maintenance and continued development of School Management Software written in C# with an SQL Server backend. - Maintenance of a PHP based Intranet Solution - SQL Data mining for internal mail merges etc - Internal IT support as required Qualifications & experience - Minimum of a 2:1 in Computer Science or other relevant degree. - At least 2 years .Net development experience.
Required Skills and Knowledge - Advanced level experience of Windows Forms programming with C# - Intermediate to advanced level experience using SQL Server, stored procedures and T-SQL - Ability to build up and lead a team. - Some knowledge of Access Databases - Excellent communication skills, ability to build a rapport with clients and staff. - Experience in developing using N-Tier architecture
Desirable Skills and Experience: - Product launch experience - PRINCE2 or equivalent project management qualification / experience - Experience with Microsoft Reporting Services - Programming using the Sage Developer API - MCTS / MCAD certification - Maintaining Microsoft Access ’97-2003 databases - Developing and maintaining PHP Websites - IT Support experience Training Programmes – Commencing September 2008School Leavers We are currently receiving applications for training for admission to the Association of Accounting Technician. This is a 3 year training programme and requires a minimum of 2 A levels or equivalent. The programme is fully funded and includes block release to our training provider in Bath, all course fees paid, paid study leave and a daily expense allowance. Graduates Applications are invited from graduates holding a minimum 2.2 degree from a recognised University for our 3 year graduate training programme. The training course includes full study package and should culminate in admission to the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. As a general practise we are able to offer trainees a broad range of experience including annual and management accounts, audit, personal and business tax, investment work and tax planning.
