Sponsors of CyNam’s second headline event of 2017

CyNam, (Cyber Cheltenham) is a new non-profit making organisation based in the heart of the UK’s cyber security community. It’s goal is to bring together the best technology minds from local SME’s and Startups to fully harness the rich cyber security ecosystem that flourishes around Cheltenham, the home of GCHQ. CyNam is now a Community Interest Company with a Board of Directors incorporating technical leaders from the local community, with backing from local and national government.

We are excited to be sponsoring the second headline CyNam event on Thursday 15th June 2017, 1730-20:00 at Jury’s Inn in Cheltenham

The format of the evening is key speaker presentations, Q&A and networking – the key speakers which have been announced to date are:

  • Freddie Noble from Albright Patents. If you are designing or creating a unique product or service and want to protect its provenance, this will be hugely relevant.
  • Simon Smith from Ripjar. ‘Machine Learning’ is a bit of a buzzword but what might it mean for you and your company?
  • Rich Porter from Trustnet.works.  ‘Challenges of Start Ups Across Three Time Zones’.
  • Ian Maxted, Digital Investigations and Intelligence Manager of Gloucestershire Police. The challenges faced by law enforcement, the extent of cyber crime and how we can protect ourselves.
