Not received any statement or payment slip from HM Revenue & Customs?
Rather late in the day HMRC has admitted there is a problem in that not all taxpayers have been sent either a Self-Assessment Statement of Account or payslip for use in making the 31 July 2011 tax payment.
HMRC has stated that some payslips will be sent late. If your UTR (unique taxpayers reference -10 digit number) ends in digits 70-99 you may be affected.
If you receive your payslip/statement in July then HMRC can expect payment by 31 July 2011 and will charge interest on late payments. If you receive your payslip/statement in August because of HMRC delay as long as you pay within 30 days there will be no charge to interest.
If you have not received a payslip/statement but want to ensure payment is received by HMRC by 31 July 2011 please contact us.
