Tax amnesty ends on 31st May 2011
• HMRC have information from CORGI / GasSafe
• Crackdown on cash in hand jobs
• Plumbers not registered for VAT are at high risk

The Government have announced a tax ‘amnesty’ for the plumbing and heating
industry. The ‘Plumbers Tax Safe Plan’ gives plumbers and other trades
people until 31 May 2011 to report to HMRC their intention to ‘come clean’ about
their undisclosed tax. Taking advantage of this opportunity is likely to have a
more favourable outcome than if HMRC discover irregularities themselves.
Contact us before they contact you.
