On Tuesday 14th June Randall & Payne jointly hosted, with WSP Solicitors, a quiz in aid of the Cotswold Care Hospice. 34 teams from local businesses entered the multimedia event at Marling School. As well as the usual general knowledge and trivia rounds there was a bit of a twist, as the two quizmasters carried out a charades round between them, which was well received.
The quiz was won by a team entered by Karen Spriggs, closely followed by two teams from Barnett Waddingham who finished in joint second place.
We would like to express our thanks to all that participated, sponsored prizes and helped on the evening, especially Dave Middlemiss and Jason Chare from the Vale and Valleys Partnership for their excellent hosting of the quiz. We have raised over £2000 for the Cotswold Care Hospice and hope to run a similar event next year.
Cotswold Care Hospice has the most modern palliative care facilities in Gloucestershire.
