Enter the Gloucestershire Business Awards

The Gloucestershire Business Awards have established themselves as one of the most prestigious events in the local calendar since they were first held 21 years ago. They are the largest regional media awards of their kind in the UK, providing the ideal opportunity for the business community in Gloucestershire to get together in a relaxed and jovial atmosphere to celebrate the best and most innovative companies in the county.

Tim Watkins, Randall & Payne’s Managing Partner comments, “Randall & Payne have been headline sponsors for seven consecutive years and it remains a privilege to help showcase the success of our business community. As a long established Gloucestershire business it is always encouraging to see the quality of the entrants coming forward year after year, as well as the variety, and to see county businesses ever growing and evolving with the times.”

“These awards are the ones to win, with a range of categories suited for any successful organisation to tell their story, from large private and public companies through to thriving entrepreneurial businesses, promising start-ups and established SMEs.”

Why enter?

There are many reasons why companies decide to enter business awards, from the opportunity to celebrate a particular achievement through to showing the wider community how proud they are of their success.

Entering awards offers companies:

  • Opportunity to reflect and celebrate
  • Recognition for the business
  • Raise profile on a local level
  • PR and networking opportunities

Randall & Payne understand the importance of entering awards and were proud to win a British Accountancy Award last year for ‘Best Client Project’, as well as being shortlisted for ‘Audit team of the Year’.

Will Abbott, Partner and Business Advisory lead commented, “The awards provide a chance to publicise success locally, provide a good news story for your staff and also provide a structured chance to assess where you are as a business and quantify the benefits that you have delivered to your customers.”

“Many people shy away from entering awards, thinking they won’t have a chance to win, or that it may take a lot of time to enter their nomination. After winning an award ourselves and helping many other businesses enter too, I can say that it’s something definitely worth doing.”
