On Friday, Rob Case presented at the C2S property update titled ‘Property – What Next?’ held on Zoom with over 50 in attendance.
Circle 2 Success ran the hour-long webinar in partnership with Move Property Sales & Lettings, Bruton Knowles, Cheltenham Borough Council and of course ourselves, Randall & Payne.
Move Property Sales & Lettings
George Tatham-Losh gave an update on the Gloucestershire property market now that viewings can take place again, identifying opportunities and locations for potential investment. He highlighted that home offices, outside space and rural locations will be likely to be of interest to buyers going forward.
Cheltenham Borough Council
Dominic Stead then covered the local sites the council has acquired and earmarked for likely development over the longer term especially with investment in cyber locally.
Randall & Payne
Rob Case gave a tax update covering recent measures affecting the property market and also things to think about when structuring a property investment business, most importantly of course taking account of your own goals and objectives for the business.

Dorian Wragg from the national property consultants explained that clients and landlords are looking at how to open properties and make them safe. The construction sector is opening up again and new sites are coming forward. As expected there are issues with rent and some difficult discussions are taking place but landlords are largely sympathetic.
There were some great questions from the audience and several of them hung around at the end to network further and it was agreed that we will look to run a joint event providing further updates in the weeks and months to come.
