Two of our team shortlisted for AAT Professional Member Awards

We are delighted to announce that two of our team have been shortlisted for the AAT Professional Member Awards 2019.

Congratulations to Carrie-Anne Dailly and Gina Gardner for being shortlisted for the AAT Professional Member Awards which will be held after their annual conference in Stratford Upon Avon on Thursday 13 June 2019. The Association of Accounting Technicians is a professional membership body who award skills-based accountancy and finance qualifications.

Carrie (pictured above) is a Graduate Trainee Accountant within the Accounts team and has been shortlisted for Rising Star of the Year. Carrie joined the firm in July 2017 and completed her MAAT status in February last year. She has played a key role in the migration of clients to cloud accounting software, helping them to better understand their own businesses and ensuring they can make more informed decisions on how to achieve their business goals.

Gina (pictured above) is a Corporate Tax Accountant and has been with the firm for over four and half years, specialising in Research and Development claims, whilst managing the Corporate Tax compliance for our clients. Gina has been shortlisted for the AAT Professional Member of the Year – MAAT and was shortlisted for this category in 2018 but narrowly missed out on the night, though was successful in bringing home Rising Star of the Year in 2017. She has featured as a case study for the AAT and has recently been accepted onto the AAT Members’ Assembly 2019.  Gina is the first in the firm to take on the challenge of the ACA/CTA Joint programme which she is on track to complete by May 2020.

The full shortlist is available on the AAT website.

We wish them both the best of luck for the award ceremony in June.
