AAT Apprenticeship Trainee Programme

As an SME employer we can offer you something different in your training.  With us you will have the opportunity to get more involved with our clients from early in your career and experience all aspects of accounting and advisory work.

‘We make your success our priority’ is our vision and this applies as equally to you as a trainee as it does to our clients.

Our fully funded training programme is designed to equip you with all the knowledge, skills and practical experience you will require to make a solid start as an assistant accountant.

You will be fully supported throughout your training and will be assigned a buddy to ensure you get the very best start to your training experience.

Our training programme enables you to:

  • Work alongside experienced professionals in a friendly working environment
  • Gain valuable work experience in all areas of accounting and work with a wide-range of clients
  • Continuously develop, both personally and professionally
  • Go on to study for your ACA or ACCA qualifications
  • Build a lasting career; some of our Partners started as AAT apprentices with us!

Strong academic performance is great but not essential to us, we are more interested in what else you have to offer. So whilst you are likely to have good GCSE’s and A’ levels, you will definitely be highly motivated with a real passion for business and accountancy.  You will be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, able to foster strong working relationships with colleagues and clients alike.  You will possess a positive approach to work and study and be able to use your initiative and problem solve.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including having your birthday off work! A full wellbeing programme and good life/work balance.

If you are interested in joining our successful team and securing a training contract in a great place to train, learn and develop, send your CV with a covering letter to: careers@randall-payne.co.uk by Thursday 28th February 2019.

“Starting out as a trainee at Randall & Payne with no prior experience felt a little daunting at first however, working in the accounts team has allowed me to gain knowledge and an in-depth understanding, which has provided me with a solid foundation and helped me to progress quickly with my studies.  There is a fantastic support network from other trainees through to partners. The training programme is well structured and is flexible to fit around day to day work, while allowing you to learn on the job as well as applying what you learn on study”
