Randall & Payne have signed the Menopause Workplace Pledge

Supporting our staff through the menopause

By signing up to the Menopause Workplace Pledge we are committed to making Randall & Payne a supportive and understanding place for employees going through the menopause.

The menopause is often seen as a private matter and not a topic to be discussed openly, but times are changing, and it is more widely recognised that the menopause can impact on working life and should be discussed, just as with our mental health.

Feeling supported at work can help to increase staff retention, reduce recruitment costs, improve productivity, happiness and wellbeing, and ensure a more diverse workforce.

In signing the Menopause Workplace Pledge, Randall & Payne has committed to:

  • Recognising that the menopause can be an issue in the workplace and women need support.
  • Talking openly, positively and respectfully about the menopause.
  • Actively supporting and informing your employees affected by the menopause.

Having signed the pledge, we are writing a Menopause Policy and we have started a Menopause Café which is an informal catch up for anyone who would like to join to discuss some of the issues, share experiences, tips and techniques which have been helpful to others. We are using The Wellbeing of Women website to access various resources, from health information for those who are affected to a guide to managing menopause at work for managers.
