Food & drink companies faced with their biggest challenge ever…

As as one of the worst affected sectors during lockdown, business owners need to quickly understand industry trends in order to adjust their strategy and grow their businesses again.

FREE webinar 17 September: ‘How do I grow my future business after lockdown?’

Will Abbott, Business coach and strategist here at Randall & Payne will question Paul Drabble, Food and Drink sector expert, on the latest industry statistics and will demonstrate to businesses that they need to act now in order to grow.

Will commented, “Covid has affected many businesses but perhaps nowhere as significantly as in the Food and Drink sector. The pressure to evolve the business model to adapt to changing buyer behaviour was always there, but the pandemic has moved it from a “should do” to a “must do” if this key part of the economy is going to thrive in the future.”

Ahead of the webinar Will and Paul have been sharing key insights:

Latest research from Marketing Week and Econsultancy suggests that as a result of the pandemic consumers are changing their buying habits and 55% of SMEs are adapting their strategy to build on this. This may act as a wake-up call for the 45% who are not and therefore missing out on the opportunities that are currently presenting themselves.

The biggest change in behaviour is the speed of ‘digital adoption’. IGD forecast UK online food shopping will grow nearly 60% by 2022.

Will and Paul will be discussing some of the more challenging statistics and will give key takeaways to ensure business owners have the tools and knowledge needed to adapt.
