As our two-year charity partnership with Teckels Animal Sanctuaries has come to a close, we are proud to reflect on what we’ve achieved together.
Representatives from the Randall & Payne team were delighted to visit Teckels recently to mark the culmination of a relationship built on shared values, love of animals and a commitment to making a meaningful difference locally. Teckels, the well-established local animal welfare charity, works tirelessly to rescue and rehome dogs and cats, and seeing their accomplishments first-hand again was humbling.
Alice Prout, who originally nominated Teckels as our corporate charity and has been a passionate supporter of the cause throughout the partnership, came along to say goodbye.

Once again, we were warmly welcomed by the team and invited into the real-life room to meet Nicolas, one of their rescue dogs, who immediately became the star of the visit. We also had the opportunity to see several cats patiently waiting for their forever homes, and Alice and I were lucky enough to have cuddles with some four-week-old puppies. This felt like a fitting full-circle moment, as on our very first visit to the charity two years ago we also met newborn puppies, all of whom have since been adopted into loving homes.

We were delighted to present Teckels with a cheque for £10,300 raised through our corporate charity collaboration, which is in addition to our regular donations of blankets and towels, food and toys, as well as volunteering at the Summer Fair & Dog Show and attending the Teckels Winter Ball.
Randall & Payne has long believed in giving back to our local community, and this partnership with Teckels has been a wonderful example of how collective fundraising efforts can make a real impact. From sponsored challenges and team events to monthly breakfast baps, summer BBQs and cake sales, colleagues across the firm have shown incredible generosity and enthusiasm over the two years.
We would wholeheartedly encourage other organisations to consider supporting Teckels and stress that the commitment required is manageable for a business, yet the impact for the charity is significant, helping to raise both vital funds and much needed awareness of their incredible work. As Alice perfectly summed it up on the day, attending the centre for that hour made it the “best workday ever”.
We are incredibly proud to have supported Teckels and grateful for the opportunity to meet the people and animals who benefit directly from the relationship. It was a fitting and heartwarming way to celebrate two years of partnership and to reflect on the difference that can be made when a team comes together for a great cause. Thank you to everyone involved for their commitment, generosity and support.
