Why James Markey stood out to the judges.
Nutrition X MD, James Markey, created this highly successful business whilst overcoming personal and professional challenges having been the victim of a random attack that resulted in a brain hemorrhage whilst on his gap year in Australia. To support his recovery in every way, James turned to nutrition and exercise, finding solace in the positive impact he could have on his body and physical wellbeing by taking care of himself properly.
Having always been a lover of sport and having turned to supplements and vitamins to support his recovery, he decided to have a go at setting up his own business in this space. And so, in 2014 at the tender age of 25 from his bedroom at his parent’s house, Nutrition X was born; a company to help others, specifically athletes, support their own performances and wellbeing through good quality, safe nutrition… just as James had done.
