Mike Terrington retires

When a team member leaves you find yourself with mixed emotions, happy they are moving to new exciting adventures, mixed with sadness that you are losing a valued colleague, a confidant, a work friend. With mixed emotions we bade farewell to Mike Terrington who embarks on the next exciting chapter of his life – retirement.

Mike, who worked at Randall & Payne for 47 years, recently retired to focus more time on his home life and loves, such as following the England cricketers and rugby players on their “rollercoaster” journeys!

Over the years Mike has been a valued member of the Randall & Payne team, sharing a wealth of knowledge with our accounts team, helping them to grow and learn, and we hope his heritage remains in the personnel he leaves behind.

Tim Watkins says, “Mike will be sincerely missed, personally I have worked with him for over 30 years and have thoroughly enjoyed his company, in and out of work, and thank him for the support he gave me when I started out in the firm and over the many years since.

“As a firm, we will miss his professionalism and his knowledge and truly appreciate all his work to support our clients and the team around him, but fully accept the decision that this is the right time for him to retire. On behalf of Randall & Payne, past and present, we wish him all the best in his retirement.”
